Folktales and Fairy-tales Unit

Here is a peak at our newest unit! Folktales and fairy-tales are very fun to teach because they are classics that all kids will enjoy. They also can help you teach major literacy skills. I started my unit today with "The Three Little Pigs" and the kids loved it! I will add more as I continue through the unit!

Author Study- Jan Brett

Recently we posted our Jan Brett Author Study unit! This unit is meant for before the holiday break! I am planning to add more pictures of projects we did and I will add her "Winter" stories to the unit soon. This is just a sneak peak! Enjoy.

Welcome to Kindergarten!

This is day 1. So starts our journey into creating a toolbox of ideas for teachers and parents of primary aged students. This page is by no means anywhere close to complete, it is a work in progress. Our goal is to add units as the year progresses. In each unit you will find: ideas, lessons, downloadble/printable documents FOR FREE, and images of what we are doing in our classrooms. We hope that you'll come back and visit us often as we will be updating our weekly accomplishments and struggles. We will post everything from successes to failures and everything in between.
